The new issue tracker is online! This replaces the Suggestions and subsequent Bug Reports sections in the forums. The issue tracker software will help streamline the processing of bug reports as well as new feature implementations, and provide an easy way to track the progress of any particular issue.
The issue tracker can be accessed by clicking here.
For instructions on how to sign up and submit a bug report or new feature, see the instructions in this thread.
The route system has been patched again to resolve issues with routes that only fly on certain days. Sometimes, depending on the timing, if a route was scheduled to fly every other day, and it was an overnight flight, the return trip (or second leg of the route) would fail to schedule. That has now (hopefully) been resolved. Please let us know if you run into any issues.
Some new formulas have been put in place for calculating operating costs of flights, as well as some new cost categories on the income statement. Operating cost is now broken down into Taxes, Maintenance, Insurance, IFE/IFS costs and Misc Costs. For more information and to view the revised operating cost forumlas, view this thread in our forums.
Each aircraft you own or lease now has an Hourly Operating Cost. This has replaced weekly maintenance and insurance costs. Fuel cost and lease cost are not included in the operating cost.
Operating cost depends on two factors - Aircraft type and number of cycles. Larger and more heavily used aircraft have a higher operating cost.
Operating cost is deducted from each flight, just like fuel cost, and it is shown on the flight tracker page as well as the flight history page. You can see your aircraft's operating cost on the aircraft details page, by going to your fleet overview and then clicking on the aircraft registration number.

Server maintenance will be performed tomorrow, January 17 at 8am GMT to address the Meltdown CPU vulnerability. A two hour window has been set aside for the maintenance. Expect the game and forums to be unavailable during that time.
We will be moving the game and forums over to the new server tomorrow, January 11. Expect the game to be inaccessible for most of the day. You can join our Discord chat if you want to be kept up to date on the progress: https://discordapp.com/invite/vgRJcdK
UPDATE 1/6: We are still experiencing some issues with the routes system. Routes will get scheduled multiple times, only partially or not at all. We are working on fixing these issues, so your patience is requested.
The long-awaited revamped routes system has finally been implemented. We have done our best to test the system and ensure that the roll-out is as smooth as possible, but there is always the chance that we missed something. If you encounter any issues with the new system, please let us know via our forums. We will also make a detailed post in the updates section detailing the new system and how it works.
Airlines are now able to lease aircraft from the used aircraft market. For now, this only works with aircraft generated by the system. Players cannot lease aircraft to another player at this time. Additionally, all used aircraft are leased for 1 year by default. Eventually you will be able to select lease terms when leasing used aircraft, but that functionality does not exist yet.
Used aircraft leases are delivered instantly, and there is no initial downpayment.
Bag fees have now been implemented into routes. To set bag fees for your airline, go to Manage Airline --> Routes --> Set Ticket Prices. If you decide to charge bag fees, the more you charge, the less likely passengers will be to bring a bag on board. So at a certain point the revenue you gain from baggage fees will peak and a further increase in fees will not result in more revenue. Bag fees do not affect reputation gain whatsoever, only demand and revenue. Bag fees are worked into the pricing function of the demand formula, meaning a bag fee has the same effect on demand as raising your ticket price. A $150 ticket with a $25 checked bag fee is the same as another airline having a $175 ticket and no bag fees.
For more information or if you have any questions/comments, see this thread on our forums.
Loans are now available as an option for additional funding. The number of loans as well as your credit limit is affected by your airline's credit rating. You cannot exceed either of those limits. To request a loan, go to Manage Airline --> Financial --> Loan Management.
If you have any questions or comments feel free to ask on our forums.
